Great results for great people

Had a wonderful Saturday, working with a lovely couple who had their heart set on a renovated two-bedroom apartment in Clayfield. The owner had lived there for over 30 years, and had personally supervised the renovations with careful attention to detail. She was sad to be leaving her home, but advancing years meant it made sense for her to move in with her son and daughter-in-law.

So the unit was being sold.

The couple's budget fell short by $5k. It was their first home purchase, and they were keen to live in the Clayfield area with its excellent shops, restaurants, schools and transport, plus close proximity to the city.

They were such beautiful people and I knew they would be so happy in this unit and I also knew the owner would love having these people as the next owners.

But the $$$ were the issue.

So I got everyone together over a cup of tea, and I was right. The owner agreed the couple was perfect for her place, and happily dropped her asking price, preferring to know that her lovely home would continue to be cared for properly.

Situations like this fill my heart with joy and are the reason why I love what I do so much.
